  Description

  Gibaud Ankle Care Blue Ankle Brace is a device to protect your ankle and restore movement.

  It is indicated in case of strain, slight sprain or functional instability, during the rehabilitation phase after an ankle injury, or for your daily activities (sport, work, leisure, ...). This ankle brace protects the movement of your ankle while restoring your sensations. Indeed, the compressive 3D textile restores your sensations by proprioception (ability to feel the position of your body in space), while being soft and breathable for a second skin effect that protects your ankle by letting the skin breathe. This ankle brace is mixed.

  To allow its proper use and give it all its effectiveness, it is important to choose its size well (measure, with a tape measure, the turn of your ankle to 2cm above the malleolus):

  Directions for use

  A fitting is mandatory for a correct adaptation and a good understanding of the installation. The first set-up will be carried out by a health professional and later by the user or a person close to him according to the same protocol. The orthosis can be applied to the right or left ankle.

  1. The installation is done by putting on the ankle like a sock. The Gibaud logo must be located on the upper part of the ankle.
  2. Position the bottom border (without logo) under the plantar arch.

  Hand wash with warm soapy water (maximum 40°C), rinse thoroughly, and gently spin.

  The device contains natural rubber latex which may cause allergic reactions. The device should not be used if the injury requires partial or total immobilization or surgery. Do not wear for prolonged periods without medical follow-up. This orthosis should not be placed in direct contact with a skin lesion.  Use on one patient only, do not reuse on multiple patients. If you experience any problems, such as pain or local signs, remove the device and contact your healthcare provider.

  Keep away from excessive heat. Do not tumble dry, do not iron, do not dry clean.
