  Description

  Mayoly Spindler Probiolog P'tit Probiolog DIA Plus 20 Sachets is a foodstuff intended for special medical purposes for the nutritional needs of children from 1 month to 5 years of age in case of dehydration caused by diarrhea.
  This product contains:

  • 10 packets of Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) powder,
  • 10 sachets of live microbiotic strains, Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG. The species Lactobacillus rhamnosus may be naturally present in the intestinal flora. The microbiotic strain Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG is one of the best studied microbiotic strains.

  Osmolarity and electrolyte content have been adjusted to meet the needs of infants and young children in the event of dehydration due to diarrhea.

  Directions for use

  Always start with the oral rehydration solution sachet.
  1. Dilute 1 sachet of ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution) in 200 ml of low mineralized water, without adding sugar or salt.
  Unless otherwise advised by a doctor, give as much as the child wants as soon as diarrhoea appears or the first signs of dehydration appear. The child can regulate his or her intake according to his or her hydric needs, but it is important to give the solution regularly until the thirst is satisfied.
  In case of vomiting or refusal of the bottle, use a teaspoon.
  Once reconstituted, the solution should be kept for 1 hour at room temperature, and up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
  Do not administer parenterally.

  2. Take 2 sachets of Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG per day separately from the sachet of oral rehydration solution.
  Do not exceed the recommended dose.
  The powder should be diluted at the time of use in a cold or warm liquid or in food (fruit juice, yoghurt, milk, compote, fresh cheese, etc.). The preparation is to be consumed immediately.

  This product should be used under medical supervision.
  Due to its particular formulation, it cannot be used as the sole source of nutrition and is intended for children from 1 month to 5 years of age in case of dehydration following diarrhoeal episodes.
  Due to its composition, the product may present a risk for people who do not have the disorders for which the product has been formulated.
  Do not use in the event of a significant reduction or even cessation of urine secretion or renal insufficiency.

  Before reconstitution, store at a temperature between 8 and 25°C, in a dry place and protected from light and heat.
